Edward “Cooter” Booth of Oklahoma Boro passed away on March 20, 2021, at his residence. Cooter was born on July 10, 1960, in Kittanning to the late William C. and Virginia (Peterman) Booth of Gilpin Twp. He attended Leechburg High School and became an auto technician for many years.
Growing up, Cooter attended Forks Church and was a member of the Parks Township Sportsmen's Club. He loved to spend time fishing with Weston and tractor rides at Greg and Marsha’s. He also spent many days fishing with Greg and the gang on the Allegheny River or in his garden growing vegetables and strawberries. Cooter was always sharing the extras with the neighbors.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years Tina (Myers) Booth, son Brandon Booth at home, grandson Weston James Booth of Vandergrift, sister Peggy (Booth) Harmon of Natrona, brother David Booth of West Leechburg, sister-in-law Debra Booth of McMurry. Cooter was an uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother William C. Booth Jr.
