Emery L. Jackson. 82, of Lower Burrell, Pa, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021. Born April 9, 1938, in New Castle, Pa to the late Otis and Dorothy Jackson. Married for 55 loving years to Rita (Gibb) Jackson. Father of Laura and the late Jeffery L. Jackson. Grandfather of Melissa (David) Westbrook, Lindsey Jackson, and Adam (Denise) Johnson. Emery was preceded in death by his siblings George, Bill, Grace, Betty, and Ruth. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1957 – 1961. Upon his discharge, he worked for Firestone Tire Company and the railroad from 1976 – 2003. He enjoyed working as a security guard in his spare time, which he did for 16 years. Emery was a wonderful man, husband, father, grandfather, and friend that will be truly missed

Family and friends are welcome at RJ Slater IV Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1000 Freeport Rd, New Kensington, on Saturday from 9-11 am with a service to follow in our chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Dean Ward. Burial will be private for the family only.
