John Scott Ogg, 51, of West Newton, Pa, passed peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2019. Born on October 26, 1968, in Jeannette, PA, to the late Jesse and Alice Ogg, Sr., he was the beloved husband of Janice (Hollis) Ogg.  Loving father of James Vargo Jr, Justin Vargo, and Cody Vargo; and brother of Forest (Leann) Ogg, Jesse (Tye) Ogg Jr, Heather Keller and Todd (Stacy) Cearns along with several nieces and nephews. I am so very saddened by this news and My prayers go out to all of his family and friends. John was such a nice guy, I am sure anyone that knew him knew that. I have these vivid memories of my childhood growing up with the Ogg family and one instance is all of us sitting around the kitchen table and having so sort of speed eating contest with pizza, and John had the smallest mouth but man he was so damn fast...Rest easy my brother, JB Spoonhoward

I remember running ambulance with John.  He would always be ready to help in any way he could.  John you will be greatly missed.  Love ya and until we meet again.
