Julie Ann Dinger of Lower Burrell, PA, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020, with her family by her side. She was 73 years old.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Gladys Dwyer and Margot Miller. She is survived by her loving daughter, Karen Mester, son in law, Larry Mester, grandsons, Zachary Mester and Joshua Mester, sister Sara Werner and many nieces and nephews, some of whom she had called brother and sisters. Julie was a strong and independent woman who loved her family and friends. She was a regular Silver Sneaker at the YMCA and formed many friendships with the members of her water aerobics group. Julie was an avid music lover of the likes of Al Green, Barry White, and Neil Diamond. She was often referred to as Grandma Julie by many of her grandson’s friends and was favored for the many treats she provided them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Friends and family will be received Saturday from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., at which time a blessing service will take place at RJ SLATER IV FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 1000 Freeport Road, New Kensington. Please wear a mask.
